Here’s the first post on the new blog!

Looking forward to having some great discussion, exploring some new topics and hearing your take on things going on.

Let’s just dive in here, I believe that everyone is called upon to lead in some capacity and in certain points in his or her life. The question is whether or not we will be ready. The plan here is to create a community excited about being ready for the unique calling that we each have placed on us.

Thought to ponder, do you believe leadership is more about tenacity or is it talent based?

Whether or not you think that you have the gift of leadership, there are skills that apply to many situations that can be learned. It is our responsibility to be prepared. You can plan your endeavors to develop those skills and prepare.

We should always remember though that we need to be aligned with Christ’s plans for our lives before everything else. Check out Psalm 33:10-11

10 The Lord foils the plans of the nations;
he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,
the purposes of his heart through all generations.

Regardless of what we think is best, there is one who has the big picture and when we head in the same direction as what will ultimately triumph we can be assured that things will work out in the end.
